GUIs#
In this category, we have provided a variety of software with Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) available on the cluster. Each software has its own specific form, although they are generally similar. The current available GUIs are:
Matlab#
This app launches a specific Matlab version. You can load other modules in your environment by entering their name in the "Additional modules" field.
Our Matlab app also allows to link Matlab with Comsol. To connect them simply enter comsol as your additional module. The form is shown below.
Once Matlab loads, if you are linking with the Comsol, a confirmation message will appear, indicating a successful connection to the Comsol server:
Similar as many other apps in the portal, you can use GPUs, by selecting the gpu partition. A snapshot of a running Matlab session with GPU is shown below.
